Sonitaire

A color and sound card game (solitaire) for iPad & iPhone

SONITAIRE is based on the popular card game of solitaire. Instead of the traditional 4 suits; hearts, clubs, diamonds, and spades, the cards are composed of solid colors based on the color spectrum together with a unique sound. In the basic SONITAIRE card game, there are six suits of color (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet) with 5 variations on the value (light to dark). There are 30 cards in total in the game.

AUDIO:
Every card in the game has a musical note associated with it. When the card is tapped the tone will play. When one card is placed on another card or cards, the sequence of notes plays in succession. If you win the card game, a special sequence of all the notes is played. Sounds include marimbas, bass guitars, drums, bells, guitars, as well as wind and string instruments.

GAME PLAY cont.
Drag cards to the center row and stack the cards in descending numerical order, e.g. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Different colors can be placed on top of each other here as long as they are always in descending numerical order.

At the same time, a player can drag cards to put them into their correct “suits” on the top row. For example:

R 1 ( Red 1) O1 (Orange 1)
R 2 O2
R 3 O3
R 4 O4
R 5 O5
ETC.

The goal of the game is to place all of the cards in their correct “suits” in ascending order on the top row.

LABELS: (R1, B1, Y1, etc.)
